1) Yoshi's Island
2) Donut Plains
3) Vanilla Dome
4) The area above Vanilla Dome (Cookie Mountain?)
5) Forest of Illusion
6) Chocolate Island
7) Valley of Bowser
Star World and the Special World don't technically count as worlds, since they're optional/bonus worlds.
Ok, well if you aren't counting Star Road and Special Road, then I guess it's 7. But what about the pirate ship that lasts a whole one (?) stage? It's technically not part of any place, since it's right between Chocolate Island and the entrance to Bowser's Valley.
It's technically part of Valley of Bowser. Anything after a castle constitutes as part of the next world.

I'm glad you've been able to do that hack up to world three. I haven't even bothered to do so much as play mario for the last......I don't remember. Xbox is fun, especially with Call of Duty four, modern warfare.
